Microsoft to Launch Lumia 730 and 830 at IFA
Microsoft has started sending out invites for their IFA press event in Berlin, Germany, which is on September 4. The invite is smartly pointing to the rumoured Lumia 730, a successor to the powerful camera phone, The Lumia 720. It’s one of the phone for which the price did not drop, thanks to its camera technology at this budget. Also the Lumia 820 which was used by most of the Microsoft and Nokia employees, needed another version.
The invite has two things that points it to an impressive camera phones—Lumia 730 Lumia 830– One that it says “Join us for more face time” (Selfie Phone) which is the Lumia 730 and and second there is a Camera icon which is very similar to the 1020 Camera icon. It shows a Camera and a LED flash. I would not be surprised if its a mechanical shutter.

Looking at the image, it could be a very well successor of the Lumia 1020 but on a lower range side. The image clearly shows that it does have mechanical shutter.The phone display screen is rumoured to be around 4.5 inch with 720 P display, 20 MP Rear camera with PureView technology. It should have 1 or 2 GB RAM with 16 GB internal storage.
Known Lumia 730 Specs : The phone is supposed to carry a 5 MP front-facing camera to prove it’s “Selfie-ness”, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage with expandable slot, 4.7-inch display with on on-screen buttons. The rear camera should be around 13 MP with LED Flash.
