Microsoft Working on XBOX ONE VR Kit
Xbox One gamers might get a VR Headset of their own by next year. A lot of news circulating around this, and VRFocus has confirmation from multiple sources, and developers who are working on it with Xbox One VR HMD already to see how they can expand their games more into reality. We might see the head-mounted display at E3 2015 where Microsoft may also reveal a slim version of Xbox One.

As of now, there is no specific information about the devices, its specs and how exactly it will work is known right now. If all this is true, it will get into direct competition with Ocuslus VR, and upcoming Playstations 4 HDR as well. As a matter of fact, Xbox Head Phil Spencer did share that they are working with VR technology from sometime. This was stated at the 2014 Game Developer Conference. We expect the HMD comes with eye tracking as well making it more useful.
This project now reminds of rumoured “llumiroom project” where the complete environment can be turned into a game, allowing gamers to move around and do what they do in the game. The project never showed up later or may it will someday in combination with VR or may be with Kinect. All wild guesses, but lets hop it does turn out to be well.
