Microsoft’s HoloLens Demo Shows Battle with Holographic Robots with Wearable Hologram

When Microsoft demoed the battle between Holographic Robots with Wearable Hologram using the HoloLens, it below off a lot of mind. It is impressive to see how Microsoft is aiming to take the next level of gaming out of console to virtual reality where the game just comes to life right in your living room.

The image which you see above shows a man wearing a HoloLens, and has some kind of device in hand which he uses to fight robots coming out of the walls of living room. That device hand, which looks equivalent to Xbox Controller will let you play games, use different ind of wearable hologram etc.Microsoft said this technology or the Gaming AI is aware of the environment and acts like that. So its different for every living room.

So is this ready for consumer? The answer is no and I am guess it has long way to go because what was shown was very basic. If one would want to invest in such technology he will expect brilliant graphics, and games which gets close to reality.

The code name for this protect is Xray, and a developer kit has been announced at a whooping price of $3000, and will be available in Q1 2016. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft takes it ahead from PC to Console to Living Room gaming.
