Mosaic– Visually Appealing “Lights Out” Game for Windows Phone
Ignis Studios, an independent game company which was founded in 2012 has just launched their first game – Mosaic for the Windows Phone. The game was first released for the Android Platform where it got around 300 downloads in just 2 days.
Mosaic is a simple yet addictive puzzle game where a user needs to turn on all the color squares on the screen in order to win. It is basically a clone of popular classic game “Lights out” but according to developers they have improved the visuals and it is not a direct rip.
So when you press any of the squares in the game, it will toggle it and the four adjacent squares from colourful to white. The goal of the puzzle is to turn all of them into white with least possible moves. Easier said than actually playing the game.
The game currently has 40 challenging levels and you can compete with your friends by connecting the app to your Facebook account. Users can play the game in regular, Zen or challenge mode. As the name suggests Challenge mode is the most difficult mode in Mosaic and you can run the game in Zen mode if you just want to enjoy the game without any time constraint.
The game features Chris Zabriskie’s music in the background and the company have decided not to use any ads or in-app purchases in the game so that users can enjoy the game without any hindrances or distractions.
Ignis Studios is also going to launch two more games – ClockWork and Deozoa: Legends of Eden for Windows Phone in the upcoming months.
