Movistar says Windows 10 Mobile Update Coming in Late January 2016
Starting with Window 10 Mobile, Microsoft may have started bypassing carrier, but looks like upgrading to Windows 10 Mobile for all it’s of existing devices will be the last & the biggest hurdle they need to jump over. According to Movistar, a Spanish carrier which also has presence in Latin America, said Lumia 435 Windows 10 Mobile upgrade will come by January 2016.
According to stats, Latin America accounts for huge count of Windows Phones compared to other parts of the world, and it’s quite possible that for some of the devices that roll out will be actually late, and phased.
While we expect Microsoft to roll out the RTM version of Windows 10 Mobile by December End tops, but looking at the pace, and with Holidays already sneaking in the mood, it won’t be surprising if Microsoft pushes the updates to January.
