NAVITEL Announces Navitel Navigator for Windows Phone 7.5 devices

NAVITEL  which is the World’s leading supplier of location and navigation products and services like in Car Navigators has released Windows Phone App but for 7.X version of the OS.

What is Navitel Navigator for Windows Phone 7.5:

  • Once you register with www.navitel.ru you can see your friends location on the map in real time. You can chat with them and fix a meeting place.

  • Get to know about Traffic Jams by using their free service — Navitel.Traffic. You can then find an optimal route, avoiding traffic and saving your time.

  • Navitel.Events is another free interactive service, which allows users to mark and see on the map other users marks of the various types of road events.

  • You can find amenities like prices on petrol stations, showtimes at cinemas, etc.

  • Navitel.Weather service shows weather forecast for 3 days ahead for any place in the world.

  • My Navitel — program menu section, where you can make purchases, download free program and map updates, view your purchased licenses.

  • Download of voice packages from the program. Download and install voice packages right from program menu. Choose any of 30 free voice packages at your option.

Users of Windows Phone 7.5 devices can download Navitel Navigator 7.5.0.603 from Windows Phone Store.

That said there is no word on the Windows Phone 8 version. It looks very odd when app comes out for the later OS version but its a warm  welcome by Windows Phone 7.X users who always feel being left behind.
