All You Need To Know About Microsoft’s New Xbox Wireless Program
Microsoft just announced their new Xbox Wireless Program which will allow gamers to connect their Xbox accessories to their Windows 10 PCs. This means that, with built-in Xbox Wireless, a PC will support all Xbox One wireless accessories — such as the Xbox Wireless Controller — straight out of the box, without needing any additional adapters or wires.
Microsoft also announced the first PC that is going to support Xbox Wireless Program and its the Lenovo IdeaCentre Y710 Cube. The company is also working with other partners such as Astro, PDP, Turtle Beach, and many more. Lets see why this new feature can be great for gamers.

Best-in-class wireless gaming
Xbox Wireless provides you with a best-in-class wireless gaming experience across Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. Designed specifically for gaming, Xbox Wireless provides advantages over other connection methods, such as:
- Low-latency and high-quality wireless gameplay for up to 8 devices* at once
- Cross-platform use across Xbox One and Windows PCs
- Wireless support for stereo sound through a headset
- Eliminating the need for multiple adapters or wires for each device
Finding the Right Device
Look for the Xbox Wireless logo on the box to know if that PC or the accessory will work seamlessly within the Xbox Wireless ecosystem. If you want to enjoy Xbox Wireless accessories with your current PC, you can buy the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows and can simply plug in to your Windows PC USB port.

Through our partners, we plan to deliver a range of Xbox Wireless supported PCs and accessories such as headsets, joysticks, and other input devices. These partners include Astro, HyperX, Lenovo, Mad Catz, PDP, Plantronics, Razer, SteelSeries, and Turtle Beach. A great example of one of these accessories is PDP’s all new Rock Band Wireless Fender Jaguar Guitar Controller, found in the Rock Band Rivals Band Kit. By supporting Xbox Wireless, it will connect to your Xbox One with no need for dongles or wires.
Microsoft’s Vision for Xbox Wireless

P.S: Xbox One and the newly announced Xbox One S console already supports Xbox Wireless.
