Nokia Treasure Tag : A Must Have Accessory for those Who Often Forget
So I got my hands on the Nokia Treasure Tag, which we saw at MWC 2014, and after using it for a couple of days, I am pretty impressed with it and mostly because I can trust that device for not forgetting my office keys which I almost do, every day.
So what is Nokia Treasure Tag?
It’s a Bluetooth enabled accessory that stays connected with your phone all the time. Almost of the size of a small eraser, this device can be used to track anything. It includes keys, bags, or placed into something like a suitcase or in the pocket of your kid.

So once you have the Tag and the Windows Phone, first download Treasure Tag App and connect with your phone to register the tag. You can find, add, and add a name and icon to the tag. Once done, you can even pin it to your start screen. Here is a video explaining that:
How does it look from inside?

Treasure Tag runs on a 3V battery like you can see in the image. Right next to is the connector. It connects to the NFC and Bluetooth units, which is on the rear case of the tag.

This circular circuit is what makes the sound when the tag buttons are pressed — simple but effective mechanism.

How to find your phone using Tag?
A simple press on the tag button will send a notification on your phone with vibration and sound. The sound can be customized, and I will ask you to do so as the default is pretty low to help you figure where your phone is.

How to find your low key or the Tag?
First, launch the app and see if the tag is connected or not by checking on the status message or the Bluetooth connection. If it is connected, use the play button on the menu bar to wring the tag. The tag is speaker enabled and has the sharp sound it emits when you play it from the phone.

In case it is not connected, the tag tile will launch the location of the tag on the map. You can use directions here to get there faster if you are new to the place.

Also, when the tag gets disconnected from the phone, it starts beeping out to draw your attention. It is good enough to attract the notice of somebody around.
How to turn off and turn on the Tag?
A long press turns it on or off. When it is turned on, it has one extra beep. When you turn off has just two. Here is a complete video tutorial on managing your tag.
How long does it last?
Tag is powered by the Button battery, which you usually see in Computers et al. It should last for two years. While I keep connected with my office keys all the time, I also disconnect it during the night, so the tag and phone don’t keep on finding each other.
The Annoyance of Tag
Sometimes the tag goes nuts. Even when connected, it can’t find the keys and keep sending false alarms on the phone or keeps ringing on its own. The only way to stop this is to turn the tag off and back on again. You will have to reconnect with your phone. Also many a time I have seen myself pressing the tag accidentally, which triggers a notification on the phone.
Conclusion
[wp-review]

One is WS –10, while the other is WS 20, which differs in price by 1 K and size by almost half. WS 20 is priced at Rs 2000 approximately. Look at Amazon and Nokia Stores to buy it.
