Nokia 108 : Nokia puts a camera in a Feature Phone priced at 29$ (Rs 1700 INR)
There is no stropping to Nokia when it either comes to Smartphone or Featured phones. If I am not wrong, Nokia is probably the only player which is still investing in building a type phone, which, even though has a low market share, cannot be ignored yet.
Nokia has announced, Nokia 108 and has put in a camera inside it. So what’s so new about it? The phone costs only 29 US Dollars which means in India, Nokia 108 will cost Rs. 1800. This is definitely a steal if you are looking for a secondary phone with a camera inside it.

Like you can see the camera is only VGA camera but the idea here is to bring camera to even those people who cannot afford phones above 2K price range.
Nokia 108 is a direct success of Nokia 105 which we reviewed it few months ago and its an excellent secondary phone. Guess what? Nokia 108 is going to be the choice. Looking at the phone’s design it also looks like an upgraded version of 105 with better keypad.
As a matter of fact, Nokia 108 looks pretty close to Nokia 208 which we unboxed a day ago. In fact, the design is exactly the same as 208 with no hardware controls on the side, curved corners and keypad looks exactly the same. But yeah it does have its similarity with Nokia 105 in having no data port,
The phone is also powered with Nokia Slam which first came with Nokia 105 and 301 making sure you can transfer files over Bluetooth and it works with Android and any Windows Phone 8 devices.
Those who love to listen to music can make use of the expandable storage or can just listen to the FM radio which is enabled in this phone. The phone also comes in Dual SIM Variant which is definitely a nice choice for Indian consumers.
Price and Availability:
Nokia 108 is priced at 29 USD or Approximately Rs 1700 to 1800 in India currency. It is supposed to launch in fourth quarter of 2013 which is less than a month away. The phone comes in Nokia’s signature red, black or white, with yellow and cyan coming at a later date.
