Nokia acquires Withings, Introduces Nokia Body BMI scale and Nokia BPM+ blood pressure monitor

Withings is one of the companies making some nice health products is now acquired by Nokia Health division. It was initially announced at MWC, and today things are official. Nokia acquired Withings in April 2016 for $192 millionThe first thing you should know that all products will now be Nokia Branded, and second is the retirement of one of the key products from Withings, Aura Sleep Tracker.

That said, Nokia has introduced two new products, Nokia Body BMI scale, and Nokia BPM+ blood pressure monitor. Apart from this Nokia is also launching redesigned  Nokia Health Mate app to connect, and track all the data from the products.

Similar to Fitbit Aria, Nokia Body Scale can track weight, and BMI for up to eight people, but only costs $59 which is much cheaper compared to Fitbit Aria which costs $128.  When it comes to BPM+ blood pressure monitor, it costs $129 and is controlled through the Health Mate App. It will work even without the internet.

Health Mate App will also include revamped coaching programs, and it includes programs for Sleep, Better Body, Pregnancy tracker and so on.  Here is the list of products available at Nokia Health Store:
