Nokia Announces October 22nd Event, Possible Launch of Lumia 1520

Nokia has today announced a event on October 22nd presumably for the launch of Lumia 1520 Phablet and also the rumored Nokia Sirius Windows RT tablet. Although there is no mention on the location of the event, it looks like its going to be Abu Dhabi (or Dubai). From the rumors what we have, we expect the Lumia 1520 launch on October 22. The device has been leaked multiple times with the specs and press shots.

Nokia Event

Initial rumors suggested an event on September 26th in New york for the launch of Lumia 1520, but now we are expecting the event in Middle East.

Nokia Lumia 1520 is the first phablet from Nokia which has a 6 inch screen with 1080p resolution and quad core processor. It will run the latest GDR3 update which might also bring in additional features to the device. It will also feature the 20MP PureView camera.

But the teaser does not reveal any information on which device is getting released, but we will update the post once we have more details.
