Nokia Asha Series Might get a major Hardware Overhaul; Expect a Lumia 520 Version

Nokia Asha 501 has a pretty good response for its price range in India if anybody wants to ditch a type or the feature phone for touch phone. While the hardware is not that great, Asha 501 did made a difference by refreshing the Symbian OS into something useful and new.

That said, those who want a bigger version of Asha 501 Series, Expect a Lumia 520 style device soon. Today the most trusted source of all leaks –EvLeaks–posted up the image below which looks like a 502 device just with one button like the Asha 5XX series.

Taking a close look at the image above; it has similar characteristics as Asha 5xx series. It also has volume knockers and lock button with missing camera button. That’s not a big deal because you can always do that from the software or the app. The phone also doesn’t have a flash making it exactly like the 520 model.

However if you look at the design and style of the screen, it looks way different from the 520, it’s in fact closer to how screen design looks in 920 and above models and even closer to 1020 and if that’s true, the battery won’t be replaceable for sure. This in turn might have options of SD card and SIM somewhere around but unless we get more leaks, we cannot say anything.

Nokia Asha Samsung Style ? Say Hello to Curvy Design

In another leak, there is a new version of Asha which seems to have gone Samsung style when it comes to design. It has sharp curves at the corners, styled button and look which could be either plastic or metal. Also note that it doesn’t have the left arrow style button but rather Galaxy duos style button with OS same as the Asha 5XX series. For some reason I feel it’s broader than Asha series.
