Nokia Asha Software Update to Bring OneDrive and Mix Radio
At the MWC 2014 in Barcelona, Nokia announced a new Asha phone, the Nokia Asha 230. The phone has the similar interface and UI (Fastlane) as that of other Nokia 5XX series phone. Apart from the phone announcement, Nokia also mentioned about a new software update which is coming to the Asha Platform and will be rolled out in the coming months.
This new update will bring Microsoft’s cloud storage service OneDrive (previously SkyDrive) to Asha platform. Nokia has made available Nokia Music on Asha phones (5XX series) when they announced it at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi and now they have announced Nokia Mix radio for the platform for devices with good internet connection.

Apart from these there are other changes to the platform as well including improvements to the performance. Another addition is to the camera UI, it now has the ability to take Panorama and also self portrait which are added in this update.

The camera UI on the Asha platform has been updated to integrate OneDrive, this means it has been deeply integrated with OneDrive and you can instantly upload the camera shot from the interface and see the upload status in the Fastlane. As per Nokia, you can expect the update to roll out in April and will be available for all Asha phones.
