Nokia Camera Update to Bring Life to Images in Windows Phone
One of the major updates that is coming to Nokia’s Camera App for Windows Phone is Living Images. It’s about giving you a feel of that moment in action rather than just showing some frozen moments. As WPC grabs a video and demo of how it’s being done, check out more details right after it.
So what is happening here is that instead of just capturing an image, it’s a small video that ends up with a still image or just call it a GIF which does not loop. That’s really an interesting idea because when you go ahead and build a story using the Nokia Story teller, it gives you a feel of short movie you shot during a trip or at celebration. As you swipe across the images in the gallery, subjects start moving in the picture which makes it so much emotional.

Story Teller creates a 30 second video using these images. It is possible you can edit these, add some music in the background and share with friends. To those who are wondering if it’s a new lens from Nokia, then it would be a No.

The camera defaults to it as you shoot and captures a couple of extra frames along with it. You can instantly replay it right using the camera app. A full resolution of the image is stored by default which makes it easy for you to tap and zoom.
This will be available with the next update of Nokia Camera and might also need the Nokia CYAN update along with Windows Phone 8.1. We will keep you posted when the next update rolls out.
