Nokia Creative Studio XAP leaked, Works on HTC, Samsung Windows Phone
Nokia recently has released, another Nokia only branded app, Creative Studio, which is a free picture editor for Windows Phone and has most of the features which many popular and paid pictures app are doing. The XAP file has been leaked at the XDA Forum, and if you can side-load xap file i.e. need an unlocked phone, then this app just works flawlessly. The app is also going to the DFT Room soon and will be available for Custom Roms for free via the dark force theme market app.
My Experience using this app :
No Doubt that the performance is very smooth, but what I honestly loved about the app was before and after view that you get to see before applying the effect. For every effect, you get a line which divides your photo into two, before and after, which makes sure you to get see what all changes when an effect is applied.
Secondly, it gives you basic editing tools which most of the time you pay for in the other photo apps. Guess If nothing else will make people buy the Nokia Phones, the app will do.!!
Features of Creative Studio App :
- Panorama Support : It takes the panorama automatically as you swipe the camera sideways. The pictures are taken automatically after you have taken first shot, so I will suggest you to have a extremely steady hands.
- Face Warps : This allows you to get the face spoiler affects i.e. Super Chin, Mega Mouth, Picocchio, Dweeb etc and can be used when you are taking the photo itself.
- Live Styles : Photo effects which bring Sketch, Night Vision, Cartoon, Dreamy etc type of style and again can be used when you are taking the photo itself.
- Photo Editor allows to add effects like watercolor, sketch, cartoon. You can also Crop, Rotate, Contrast, Sharpness, color, exposure and color boost.
- Share over Flickr, Facebook and Twitter.
Suggestion :
- The Usual Skydrive Integration
- Allow to apply Face Warps and Live Styles on existing photos and not just only via camera. Its probably because the way it is integrated with the camera, its not available for every photo.
- Allow to Pin the Face warps and live style as tiles, so I can launch with the same effect directly.
- Sharing should be made possible via the Apps also. Right now you need to connect the apps manually with Nokia’s Creative Studio.
