Nokia Lumia 1020 vs 808 Pureview Comparison & Specification

Finally, 41MP preview made it to Windows Phone, thanks to Nokia. So how does it now compare to Nokia’s 41MP beast 808 Purview ? Nobody can share that unless you get to see the device and compare the image quality but till then here is the comparison of Nokia Lumia 808 pureview with recently announced Nokia Lumia 1020.

While a lot is common when it comes to hardware but there is still lot of differences when it comes to some of the hardware features and the phone OS.  1020 not only has more RAM but also comes with 2nd generation of IOS  which has been redesigned to handle this big sensor.

Moreover the amount of details that is captured in 1020 seems to be much more than 808. So for example you take a picture of Statue of Liberty from quite a distance and still zoom in later to see the torch by zooming in and then cropping it later. This without any loss in the image quality.
