Video: Nokia Lumia 520 Unboxing & Gallery
We received the Lumia 520 yesterday and I was pretty excited to do the unboxing to know what’s inside the box. Primarily because Lumia 520 is a budget Windows Phone 8 device and I wanted to figure out what all had been done to cut the price down. When it comes to quality of the phone -I had no doubts about it as we knew already that the screen quality is pretty good due to the IPS display. In fact we saw it twice, once at MWC and second at the Nokia India Launch.

We did something different here. Not only will you see what’s inside it but you will also see side-by-side comparison with Lumia 620, 820 and 920. I have just talked a bit about the display part and not in much detail. Lumia 820 and Lumia 520 screen size is almost same when they are kept side-by-side.
What is inside the box :
You have standard charger, ear phones, data cable, battery and the manual. There are two cost cutting measures here. One, the earphones are not what you get with 620 and others. They are cheaper in quality though build is good but they are not the same as you have seen with 620 and others. Second, the data cable is pretty short in comparison with others. This will be an issue if you are using a PC which does not have USB cable in front. Cable charger quality is very nice and battery power is 1430 mAH.

Price
The MRP of the phone, in India, is 10.5K but if you visit any Nokia Priority store its being sold at 9.5K which is a pretty sweet deal. Remember the phone does not have flash and it’s a low end phone which has 512 MB of RAM.
