Here is some bad news for Nokia fan boys! The company has confirmed at a meet in Chennai that the launch of the Lumia 610 and Lumia 900 has been delayed in India. Earlier, it looked like both these handsets were to be launched along with the Pure View 808 sometime in June, but the company has had to push back the launch of these devices for some unknown reason.
With the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III already available in India, this delay in the launch of the Lumia 900 is not going to help Nokia at all. It is also quite puzzling that Nokia has not already released the Lumia 610 in India. The Indian market is known to respond very well to budget handsets, and the Lumia 610 is a budget-oriented Windows Phone aimed at developing markets like India and China.
Nokia will now be releasing both the handsets sometime in early Q3 in India. | Via – WMPowerUser
