Nokia Music Gets an Update, Likes & New Release Notifications

Nokia has updated the Nokia Music app for Windows Phone users with new features. The latest version of Nokia Music is now out and you can download or update on your phones. With the updated app, you can now like your favourite artists to further personalise your music experience. Nokia Music will also like artists based on your playing history and the contents of your music library. Notifications are one of the new features here, you’ll get a notification the moment one of your favourite artists releases any new music.

Nokia Music will let you know as soon as any new gigs are announced, so you can pick up your ticket and smugly sit back and wait for the big day to arrive. The app supports live tiles, once you have pinned Nokia Music to start screen, you can see the artwork from the recently played tracks.

This update is available to all Nokia Lumia smartphones running Windows Phone 8 and will be available via the Windows Phone Store from today.
