Nokia Refocus app available for all Lumia Phones

Nokia’s PureView branded Lumia phones have great cameras and to make them even better, Nokia had announced a Refocus app at the Nokia World in Abu Dhabi, October last year. The Refocus app, as the name indicates allows you to change the focus of the image after the image has been captured, so if you want to change the focus object, you could do that with Refocus app. This app was available only for Lumia PureView phones.

Nokia Refocus lets you take a photo first and choose what you want in focus later. It’s perfect when you’re shooting close-ups of your subject because it allows you to show depth in your photos, and then change focal point if you want.

Now Nokia has updated the app and it is now compatible with all Lumia branded Windows Phone 8 devices. So if you have entry level Windows Phone 8 like the Lumia 520 or the Lumia 525, you could still get this app as it is now available for all Lumia phones.

The application first uploads your photos to SkyDrive and then creates a link that you can share with friends so they can play around and change the focus themselves. You can share Refocus photos over Wi-Fi or a mobile data connection.
