Nokia Transport / Transit App Leaked, Works On Unlocked Non-Nokia WP7 Phones
The recently released Nokia Transport App has been made to work on any Windows Phone if its unlocked ( developer or chevron ) and even work with WP7 devices which are not interop unlocked.
If you want to try this app out on your Unlocked Non-Nokia WP7 Phone, download the Transport XAP file by following the link pointed at this forum post. You will need to deploy using the Windows Phone SDK or tools like Phone Deploy-er. It worked for me on Samsung Focus. This reminds of the Nokia Maps App which was leaked few months back.

For the unknown, The Nokia Transport helps you to find transit when you are in city which is useful when you need to switch trains in between stations or change routes like taking up a bus all of a sudden. This app supports timetable-based information in total of 80 Cities are supported and where time table based info is not available it uses Map Data which support over 500 cities inducing 230 cities in China. It was showcased in MWC2012 along with Nokia eReading App.
I am not sure how it all got to work but I did heard people talking that this will be restricted strictly on Nokia Lumia device type which means it will not work on any other phone even if somebody is able to install it.

The name of the app which shows up actually as Nokia Transit and that’s kind of confusing why Nokia call it as Nokia Transport even in their official post.
