Nokia Treasure Tag App for Windows Phone is Out, MWC 2014 Announcement Awaited

Nokia Treasure Tag Accessory was One of the most anticipated accessory which was expected to launch at the Nokia World 2013 but well it did not just like the Lumia 525. However it seems the app has been already rolled out for the tag. Though  you can barely test it because the device has not been even announced.

How it works:

  • First you need to hook the tag or put it in your luggage which are carrying along with you.
  • Next connect your phone with treasure tag over Bluetooth, make sure to check the option which says “Connect Differently” in Bluetooth settings.
  • You are done.

Now if you move away too far from your belongings, your phone will alert you. In case you have lost it anyways, the phone will keep looking as the Bluetooth is turned on and it will connect as soon as it finds.

This app has HERE service integrated along with LiveSight to find the last location of the tag by pointing it like you take a picture. This helps in getting to the exact location of the tag and if you are lucky, you should be able to find it.
