Nokia Universal Portable USB Charger DC-18 Hands on

Along with the release of new Asha 501 phone at New Delhi, Nokia has also released a new accessory, DC-18. DC-18 is a portable battery charger with 1,720 mAh capacity and compatible with all phones that supports microUSB. The best feature of the device is its design and colors. It comes in matching colors of Nokia Lumia phones and also the newly announced Asha 501.

DC-18 is 57 x 57 x 14.9 mm and 65g and is extremely portable. Since the device has only 1720 mAh capacity, you can probably charge only one phone with it. Pulling the cable free turns the DC-18 on, while putting it back into place turns it off.

The portable USB charger is lightweight and compact, so it fits easily in your bag. And with four brilliant colours to choose from, you can pick one that matches your phone.

As of now there is no mention of the price of the charger, but we expect it to be cheap since the capacity is low and also it is aimed at Asha series phones.
