Nokia Wireless Car Charger Hands On Video
Along with the release of Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520, Nokia also announced a new accessory for phones enabled with wireless charging, the Wireless Car Changer and holder with NFC.
Nokia’s wireless car charger comes with NFC built-in and is designed like a Nokia car phone holder. Apart from this, the benefit of the wireless charging, the NFC functionality will allow you to start a specific app or turn on specific car mode setting on your smartphone just by placing it on the stand. For example, you can program it to run Nokia Drive as soon as you start using it in the car.
The Wireless charger can be rotated so that you can keep the phone in portrait mode or landscape mode.


At this point there is no information on the pricing and the availability of the charger, but with the features enabled, expect it to be around $80-$100. Here is a quick hands on with the wireless car charger.
The above video was recorded at MWC 2014 at the Nokia Stall. Even though the look and feel of the charger body seems plastic but its made up of strong material.
Another good thing about the charger is that finally we have something in place. Prior to this all the accessories which either belonged to iPhone or Android never made a nice fit because of the difference in thickness.
