Nokia XL Launched in India

Nokia had announced Nokia XL in India, one of the three Android powered smartphones which were announced at the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona. Nokia has announced Nokia X back in March in India and it was priced at Rs 8400 at launch and it is now selling close to Rs 7200. Nokia XL is the biggest of X series phones and it will come with a 5 inch display which is IPS + LCD and runs on a dual core Snapdragon processor with 768MB RAM and 4GB internal memory. There is also option to expand the memory using microSD Card like the Nokia X.

The device also has a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash and also there is 2000mAh battery.

Although Nokia XL runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Google services and API are missing on the device. Instead Nokia has added its own apps and services. So you do not have the Google Play store in the device, but you can easily root the device and get it running on the device. You can also install third party stores like Yantex and 1Mobile Market.

Nokia XL price is not yet announced. It comes in six colors, black, cyan, green, orange, yellow and white.
