Notification App for Window Phone 7

One of the main issues with Windows Phone isthe lack of a proper notification center. Although apps does provide notification, you cannot view it later or see all the notifications in one area. This is one area which is still lacking in Windows Phone 8 as well. But WindowsPhone Hacker has come up with a good solution to this with the Notification App for Windows Phone.

But the downside is that it works only on Windows Phone 7.x devices and there is not support for WP8 as of now.

The installation process is a bit tricky, follow the steps below.

1. First download and install the desktop app, you can download it from here.

2. Now install the app on your Windows Phone, the market place link is here

3. Now connect your phone to PC and run the Notification app on desktop.

4. Allow the phone to Sync with Zune and then run the Notification app on your phone. Now disconnect the phone from PC and you are ready with the app. That’s it, now notifications will work on Windows Phone 7 devices.

The app is not perfect as reported by many user and also the Notifications app for Windows Phone is a paid one ($2.99), so make sure you try it before purchasing it.
