Notion Ink Cain8 Windows 8.1 Tablet Launching in India, Exclusive on SnapDeal

Notion Ink is launching its first Windows 8.1 Tablet on Snapdeal. The tweet from Notion Ink official id was posted an hour back with a coming soon tag, but I am expecting this to launch in next 10 days else it will just kill the buzz.

So what we know about the specification of the tablet? Except that it runs on Intel processor, practically nothing is know about it. When we asked on the same, it was told to us that details will be released in couple of days.

That said, here is some exciting offers it is coming with. First it gets you 1 TB OneDrive Cloud Storage, and Second, you get Microsoft Office 365 1 Year Subscription completely free.. Lastly, you also get On-Site Swap Warranty. This allows you to stay at your home, claim that your device is not working and grab a new one. The non working device will be picked up later from your place.

The tablet does not run Windows RT, but Windows 8.1 which runs on desktops. It will be able to run both apps and desktop applications and those who thrive for connectivity, you can connect to external hard disks and USB drives. This feature is very important for Indian market, where most of us carry data on these accessories.

My wild guess will be that this is a 7 to 9 inch device, as the company claims to be on the go device. I have personally used a Nexus 7 and I know how well 7 inch device goes on the move.
