Obi Mobiles to release Windows Phones in next Quarter
Former Apple CEO John Sculley’s Inflexionpoint is all set to enter the Indian smartphone market with a host of new devices. The phones are expected to be announced in June and will come in the price range of Rs 5000 to Rs 8000, which means the company is targeting the entry level smartphone market where people are switching from feature phones to smartphones.
With more than 44 million phones shipping in India last year, company expects to get 2% market share by the end of this year. The company is also expected to launch a Windows Phone later this year.

The company is planning to sell 1.6 million to 1.7 million devices this year. The company also plans to release 4G phones in India by the last quarter of the current fiscal year. Since the company is targeting entry level, we expect the Windows Phone also to be priced in that category and this would give a tough competition to Nokia as well as upcoming Karbonn Windows Phones.
