Office Lens now Scans Documents to PDF

Office Lens is a handy app for Windows Phone which allows user to trim, enhance and makes pictures of whiteboards and docs readable, and saves them to OneNote. You can use Office Lens to convert images to PDF, Word, and PowerPoint files too. The app was released a couple of years back, and last year, Microsoft added the option to save images to Word and PowerPoint.

Now the app has been updated, and you can now convert your pictures to PDF files with selectable text, in addition to Word and PowerPoint files, and save them to OneDrive. This means you can scan your documents and save them as PDF files using the app.

This update does not just bring the picture to the PDF option, but it can convert the picture to selectable text in the PDF file, which is indeed a handy feature. The app is available free in the Windows Phone store.
