Official Canara Bank App for Windows Phone –ePassSheet (Electronic PassBook)
Here is another Indian bank which has launched on Windows Phone making it easy for consumers if they are switching. Canara Bank has launched their ePassSheet app which lets you connect to your Canara Bank account to check out latest transactions or a complete history for the accounts included in your consumer profile.
The app comes with a self registration process which is important. You will need to use the same mobile number in your Bank account and password which you get over SMS. These are OTP or the one time password required for registration. Once that’s done, next you can use your online banking username and password to get access to your account.
Now here is the real deal. This app is not a complete banking app which means you cannot do transactions with it. But it only acts as electronic passbook or your bank statement. You can view past 25 transactions or pickup a monthly statement. There are few value added services included but we are not sure on that.
Nevertheless, bank statements and transactions are most important and the bank has it for you. May be in future we will see more features rolled out.
A word of caution here that many users are complaining about registration. Please follow the right process to do it.
