Official IPL 2013 App for Windows Phone

IPL or Indian Premier League is one of the biggest cricketing events in India and followed by millions of people. Recently we had covered a few good apps for IPL 2013 for Windows Phones and now we have the official IPL 2013 app from BCCI. The official app does not feature the modern UI, but comes with most of the features. While the official description of the app says Live Scores, we couldn’t find an option to see live scores.

It has detailed schedules, results, teams, points table and other stats.

It also includes news, features and interviews from players. You can also view the details of all the venues, including the capacity, dates and the matches being played on the particular venue. The stats sections tells you about the top scorers in runs, wickets, sixes and fours.

While there is lot of information available in the app, the downside is the non-availability of live streaming and live scores. The UI could also have been better.
