OnePlus Considering A Windows Phone Version
After Microsoft stopped charging licence fee for Windows Phone, a lot of OEM from around the globe launched Windows Phone. Right from Karbonn to Micromax and so on. However, most of these vendors haven’t come with a device which delivers premium experience. This may change soon.
In a recent interview to Economic Times, Carl Pei from OnePlus, revealed that the company is considering a Windows Phone smartphone.
We have had discussions with Microsoft over a Windows Phone smartphone. We are still looking into it.
I have personally used OnePlus One for a couple of minutes, and thing looks clear is that device quality is pretty good. If they can come with quality hardware, Windows Phone can do rest of the magic or may be, OnePlus One can bargain for customisation with Microsoft.
OnePlus One was charged for $299, invite based, and if they come up with similar device and price it nicely, a lot of geeks might want to try it out. Would you be interested?
