Operator Billing Now Available for Reliance Customers using Windows Phone
Operator billing is one feature which works great in India as many people don’t have debit or credit cards attached to their account. Paying through the amount of money they have in their account is probably the best option for them.
We have been waiting for this from a very long time, and now we see light at the end of the tunnel. S M A Sithick (@smasithick), a Windows Phone user, shared on twitter. He uses a Reliance connection, and can see option to pay through his mobile operator. The name shows up as “India – Reliance Mobile”, when he chooses to buy an app from the Windows Phone Store.

When I tried the same thing on one of the Vodafone connection and an airtel connection, this option did not show up. I guess, Reliance is the first telecom to get this done.
