Parallels Desktop 13 adds Apple Touch Bar™ support for Windows applications
If you own the latest Macbook with Touchbar, Parallel made it super cool for those who are running Windows 10 on it. In its recent version, Parallels Desktop 13, the company added support for Windows applications. So now can have those shortcut for apps just like you would have seen on some of the Jazzy keyboards. It works with macOS® High Sierra and is ready for Windows Fall Creators Update.
A Touch Bar Wizard is included which will allow users to customize, and create shortcuts on the bar. Check out the video below:

Here is the list of new features:
- It will help you download and install Windows 10. This is very convenient.
- The trial only starts when you boot your virtual machine for the first time.
- New View Mode – Picture-in-Picture.
- You can protect the desktop, and VM using Touch Id.
- Extended support for Microsoft Windows 10 People Bar feature which will let you communicate with people from the MacOS Dock, Finder, and Spotlight. You can pin as many people on the dock, and also can manage people bar from the macOS menu bar.

When it comes to performance, the company claims that working with Windows Files from the MacOS is up to 20% faster if the VM is on SSD, and 40% for HHD. The new version has also got improved interface, and a number of things have been redesigned.
