Pattern Unlocking for Windows Phone Demoed; Only for Interop Unlock Samsung Devices
Here is another thing Live Lock for Windows Phone did. One of the dev used the same API that we talked about in the Custom Unlock App post to develop an app which can do pattern unlock for you. However it wont work on your Lumia devices but only on Samsung or may be HTC devices for which Interop-unlock has been don successfully. Here is a video showing that
The app in the video is a debug version of the app and hence you see all those numbers on the side.
It gives a proof of concept that it is possible but everybody needs to wait till an API is released for developers as notification handling is a major issue.
Also interesting to see that on Reddit, people are actually looking for picture unlock which is a feature in Windows 8. I seriously hope that Windows Phone team will soon open up Lock API to let developers come with custom lock screen apps.
