Phone Insider App for Windows Phone lets you test Pre-released OS updates (You just can’t try yet)
While Preview for Developers program is used by most of the enthusiasts by consumers and Windows Phone, another app called Phone Insider was cited today by one of our readers, which seems to deliver pre-release OS updates to Windows Phone as well. This program should be similar to Windows Insiders program, through which Microsoft distributes Windows 10 Technical Preview.
This program should get widely open for all consumers, and not just for developers, but you need some approval from Microsoft as the regular Microsoft account ID will not work. I tried it, and it fails to say the wrong username and password, but it could be just me. I am signed up for Windows 10 Insiders program, but that doesn’t help me here.
The best guess here is that Microsoft will roll out a Windows 10 TP-like program, which might be announced during Windows 10 Event happening on January 21st. And they may call it Windows Mobile 10.
