PhotoBeamer HD : Now bring the Magic of Pureview to a screen near you!!

If you aren’t aware of Photobeamer, then here is the short description.

That said, the app has gone through a major upgrade which allows it to share pictures in Full HD. Nokia recently launched Nokia 1020 which snaps up a 41 MP high definition view of anything you point at and it’s now possible to beam that up to your TV and share those awesome details with everybody.

Now that does not mean it will slow down the experience for every image but if you have a screen which supports HD, possibly your TV, then you should get a HD picture beamed over. I haven tested it but I am assuming you might see a small delay because of the size. According to David Fredh, PhotoBeamer’s lead product manager, the HD image will be almost like what you see on your phone. In case you don’t have a HD screen, it will display the best one.

This will work with Lumia 920, 925 and 1020. Hopefully with Lumia 928 as well. If you don’t have the app, download it by following the link below and try it on a HD screen to find the difference.

To use it, first install the app and then select a picture to start with. Next open Photobeamer.com on your Xbox or Monitor and scan the QR code. Also make sure the QR code is inside the square on the display of your device. Next you should see the image appear on the screen. Swipe and showcase your image.
