PicsArt : The Mumbo Jumbo of Everything You Wanted to do with a Picture on Windows Phone

While we have tons of apps in Windows Phone Store which can do many things with images, few have done it right to keep the users using their apps. PicsArt is a brand new entry which is not only doing things right, but also doing it beautifully. I called it the Mumbo Jumbo of Imaging because you can do almost everything you wanted to do with image from your Windows Phone and share it wherever you want.

Just before you start, if some of you are finding the name familiar, then you are absolutely right. This app is the official app from http://picsart.com/ who have brought a full featured photo editing and drawing app into mobile devices. This mini studio is already available on Android and iOS and is now on Windows Phone. Also PicsArt has a superb community which keep posting images with their added effects so you would never be alone.

As soon as you launch the app, it gives you a clear idea of what it can do. You have Effects, Collage, Draw, Use Camera, and Photo (to select from an album). You get filters when using effects, type of grids and frames when using collage and when using the draw method, you can either draw blank or draw it over an existing picture.

Good part is you can use this app as standalone but you can take this one step ahead by connecting the app to your existing social account like Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, Flickr and so on, you can even pull up images from those accounts for editing.

Shopping: Like I said, PicsArt has their own community and if you create an account with them, you can not only ,take part in their contest but also install templates which can be used for editing pictures.
