Pictastic- Instagram Client for Windows Phone 7.x and 8 Phones

Although there is no official app for Instagram on Windows Phone, there are numerous third party clients like Instance, Instagraph, Instance, 6tag, etc. All these apps allows you to upload photos to Instagram from your Windows Phone 8 devices and also browse the timeline. Pictastic is a brand new Instagram client app for Windows Phone 7.x and 8 devices with the ability to log into your account and post photos.

With Pictastic, you can either log into your account or browse without using an account. There is no option to create a new account as of now. You can take a picture, choose a filter to transform its look and feel, then post to it to Instagram using the app.

The app has the ability to like or comment on photos and also view the profile of any user. The app interface has three tabs, first one is to view the timeline, second one shows the popular photos and also the ability to search photos based on hashtags. The last tab has options to view the profile and other app settings.

Although the app filters are not the official ones, they are pretty good. Once you have added the filters, you can post to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr or save the photo into the camera roll.

The best feature of the app is probably the support for Windows Phone 7.x users and also the ability to post photos to Instagram. Only existing users will be able to log in as there is no option to create new account. The app is completely free of cost and you can download it from the Windows Phone store.
