Flickr is one of the most popular sites to share photos online and it has a good community of photographers. Although Flickr has an official app for Windows Phone, sometimes third party apps bring in more functionality and a beautiful interface. Pixl is a free Flickr app for Windows Phone with a clean and simple interface.

Once you have downloaded and installed the app, it provides you with two options, one is to login to your account and in case you do not have an account, you can still browse the photos.

You can view the comments and likes for each photo, but what is missing is the option to set any photo as lock screen wallpaper on your phone.

If you choose to login with your account, you get to see timeline, popular, nearby, notifications, and profile tabs. Popular and nearby tabs are populated based on the user location and your friends on Flickr. You can also upload photos from your phone to your account. Overall, Pixl is a very good app and what makes it stand out is the beautiful interface.
