If you been jealous that your Xbox One friends were able to play Xbox One games on Windows 10 PC, its time to with them one on one. Sony has released PS4 Remote Play for Windows which allows you to play games on your PC. you can infact enjoy everything on your PC which is on your console leaving the TV for others to watch. And if you happen to have a MAC, yes this feature works on that too.
You will need a full setup of PS4, MAC or PC, Sony Entertainment Network account, and a High-speed Internet connection. Sony recommends that for best performance, you will need a minimum of at least 12 Mbps. Check out the minimum PC and MAC requirement at the end.
Once installed on your computer, you will need to sign-in with your PSN account, and you will also have to enable Remote Play settings on your console. It should be under Settings > [Remote Play Connection Settings], and then select the check box for [Enable Remote Play]. Follow the intersections from there. Makes sure that your PS4 and PC are on the same network as you will need to register it.
It’s good to see that Play Station adopted this technology rather quickly than waiting for the next generation console. There will be obvious limitation on resolution, and speed. Let us know what you find.
