Poll: Xbox Live Gold Family Coming to an end, Will You Jump to XBox One

Right after the announcement of Xbox One Family & Game Sharing Features, Xbox Team has updated about the end of Xbox Live Gold Family feature  due on 27th August of this month, about 2 months before Xbox One availability.

Xbox Live Gold Family used to cost 99$ per year which is almost half of how much you would pay for two members clubbed together and is almost the same price one will have to pay for Xbox Live Home Gold. However these features are only available to users who are on Xbox One which means whoever are sticking to Xbox 360 either by choice or because Xbox One is not available in that region have a lot to lose.

So what happens to Family Members enjoying the Xbox Live Gold Family Pack ? They will be converted to Xbox Live Gold account till the expiry period + 3 Months in bonus.  Apart from this there is one big thing to miss — Reporting. This feature was particularly useful to find out what Kids were up to.

That said, there is nothing much to lose as of now but it will be going forward because once the Gold Feature expires and you plan to stick to Xbox 360, you will have pay for individual gold accounts which will be very costly compared to what is happening now i.e. right now you only pay 99$ for four members while going forward it will be as costly as 60$ per person.
