Now Live : Bushwood’s Radio Controlled Windows Phone Pandora App ( Video Review )
After Justin Angel started making the Pandora SDK ( metro Pandora) , Bushwood is probably the first one I see to make a Pandora app, named as Radio Controlled, that works nicely including the smooth selection of station and enjoying to them since 2 days without any issues even on a slow network. This app is submitted into the Market and we will update when it goes live. Update the App is live and can be downloaded from here
Features of Bushwood’s Pandora App :
- Uses your Pandora Credentials
- Create Stations from your favorite songs and albums
- Remembers the list and retrieves from your Pandora account
- Live Tile Support both within the app for Albums and Start Menu.
- Works under lock screen and integrates with Zune on Windows Phone
- Play / Pause and Rate
- Works with Premium Pandora Account.
- History – View up to the past 10 songs that have played, with options to rate and buy from Zune or Amazon.
- Station Details – From the Stations page you can drill into a station to Rename, Delete or Pin to the home screen.
- Stop – Some reviews asked for the ability to stop playback. This will stop playback and remove the song from the volume controls.
- Muic & Video integration – Radio Controlled now shows up under apps in the Music Hub

Better Pandora Integration
- Anything online if possible should get synced unless we are limited by the API
Now Playing :
- Using Theme colour in Now Playing is messing the look and feel. Best is to use some dark or matching colour for it.
- You can think of putting the controls on the side of the Album getting played where the rating Thumbs up and down are there right now.As of now they look too small compared to the Album Tile Size.
- Another idea is to pause and play the now playing album when you tap on the large tile.
- If a use taps on the Album Tile, you can pull more info on that album if possible.
Stations :
How do I delete the stations or modify it. You can get the edit / delete option when somebody long presses it.
Create stations :
- Possible to Add Artists or songs to the station I create ?
- Preview Play songs or albums I need to Add ?
