Xbox Team, The Coalition have partnered with Killer Mike and El-P to bring the “Run the Jewels” touch to Gears of War 4. Available as a separate purchase in the form of Air Drops, it includes characters, bounties, emblems, and weapons skins of both the characters. The playable characters also include their voices, likeness, and ‘can’t nobody save us but us’ attitude to GOW 4. There are 18 themed weapon skins, emblems, and bounties for fans available for both Versus Multiplayer and Horde experience.

In the official post, Xbox Team says that this is the first time two recording artists have been reimagined as playable characters in the Gears of War franchise or any Xbox game.

The brotherhood that Killer Mike and El-P represent as Run the Jewels perfectly matches Gears’ soul, which at its core is about that brotherhood and never fighting alone.
