Resize Images on Windows Phone 8 with ShrinkIt

Although Windows Phone 8 has in-built option to resize and crop images, it is always good to have an app which has better features. ShrinkIt is one such free app which allows you to resize images on Windows Phone 8. Shrinkit is an easy to use image resizing app that allows you to shrink your images to a specific resolution or percentage.

The interface is simple, all you need to do is to tap and load the image you want to resize and then select the button at the bottom.

You will be able to see the resize options. There is a slider provided at the top, if you want to change an image’s size by a given percentage while maintaining its aspect ratio.

You can also shrink the image based on size if you do not want to use the percentage option. There is also an option called Goal File Size, using this option you can set the file size of the resized image and the app will try to compress the image to get the size. Finally the app saves you pictures as separate ones and does not over write original images.
