Review : TYLT Band Car Charger for Windows Phone
Accessories are one of the key area of interest around any phone and as we keep finding new accessories for our beloved Lumia Phones, today we are here with yet again an awesome accessory, Band Car Charger from TYLT.
We all know how fast Lumia 920 charges up so if you forgot to charge last night and need to run to your meeting and make sure that your phone is all charged up, having a charger in place is necessary. In the video below I have packed in all information, my experience with the car charger along with in-car demo of how to use it.
Design & Build Quality:
TYLT is known for its quality which makes it bit expensive but if you have used a product from TYLT, you know what it feels like when you hold it. The same is true for this Band Car Charger.
It comes with non separable car charger point and 2 foot of cable with a micro USB end. The charging head is designed such that it accommodates a USB port where you can plug-in another charging cable. This design makes sure you and person sitting right next to you can charge their own device at the same time.
The charge head and the cable build leaves other car charger way behind. Its rock solid and the charging head has two metallic cutouts which makes sure that when you place it in the car port, it does not result in any wear and tear. The Silicone Unibody and Wide Flexible Flat Ribbon makes sure that even used for very long time, it will not result in internally broken wires.
It comes in four vibrant colors, supports micro USB & Apple Devices. This is going to one car charger which you will never hide in your car drawer.
Usability:
This car charger is very easy to use and flexible enough that it can get in your pocket. You can fold the cable the way you want without worrying much about tangling as it is tangle free. Powered at 2.1 Amps which allows you to charge one table or two smart phones very quickly. So even if your phone is does not have fast charging capability, the charger will do the job.
Value for Money:
Like I said before it is a premium car charger. This means you pay more than usual car charger. However the build quality, tangle free wires, option for USB port, vibrant colors make sure you get more than what you paid for. So in my opinion it’s absolutely worth it.
