Rise of Tomb Raider : Six Reasons to Buy this Game
If Tomb Raider 2013 was a reboot for the original series, Rise of Tomb Raider reboots Lara’s character into stronger version of its self. You aren’t start from scratch as far as Lara’s personality is concerned which delivers a true feeling you are continuing a series. The second that has improved, and changed the Weapons and how Lara takes on the enemies. Here are five things which I really liked about the game
#1 Stunning Graphics:
Most of the part of the game takes place in Siberia. Snow-laden mountains, peaks, snow storms, dark caves, and cold water all around. This is something to cherish and enjoy during the game play all the time. No matter if you are on side missions or the main game play, there is always something to admire about.

#2 Open World Feel :
Rise of Tomb Raider has nicely mixed Open world scenario in the game. You just don’t keep on going into the gram in straight line, but you can explore as much you can with plenty of side-missions everywhere. The only game needs is you to be an explorer. Keep finding through around, get to every corner, and the more you do, the map shows you hidden missions. The hidden missions are rewarding, and if you want to stay ahead in the game, you need them.
#3 Weapon Upgrades & Building Explosives on the Fly
Scavenging is something you will need to do constantly. Picking up mushrooms for poison, leaves that can improve your health during combat, feathers from bird nest, and hide from deer are few things you need to keep collecting if you don’t want to be taken down by the enemies and stay longer in combat. You will also need them to keep upgrading your weapons when you get to the bas camp.

While most of the game mechanics remains same, you have two new things. First is building explosives on the fly, where you can pick up an empty can, fill it with explosive and use it instantly. Make sure to use them smartly as they are handy in tough levels. Second is the arrow hook, which lets you jump over by hooking the arrow temporarily on to hanging injects.
#4 GamePlay : Choose your Style
You can either play the stay low, and clear enemies one by one or go full-blown attack mode if you have enough stock. One thing that I have noticed is as you increase the ability, the game play doesn’t become easier. The game remains tense and challenging throughout, specially with those side missions if you wish to play.

Most of the time I have spent more time on side missions, than on main missions because of the impressive puzzles, and rewards which allowed to me to upgrade weapons, and unlock new skills. You can also take on freelance missions from the characters around for rewards which will need more scavenging.
#5 Strong Villains & Tough Tomb Puzzles
While the game starts easy with the same old way to climb up, shoot arrows, I realised that it was getting difficult as the game made progress. The real challenge comes when you need to face the Villains. You need to be quick, scavenge faster, and make sure to be loaded all the time. The last boss you face made me realise how vulnerable the hero was even with all the upgrades.

While there are not lot of puzzles around this time, but those who made their way in, are deep rooted, and are tough. You will have to have to patience to solve them trying to solve them.
$6 Expeditions :
Campaign & Single Player Gamers will definitely love this game. Instead of going for a multiplayer mode, you have expeditions which tests you for another mile. Using them you can replay missions , and do things differently.
There’s no multiplayer option this time around, instead you’ve got Expeditions. As an example Score Attack or One Life missions puts you on edge on doing better, and since you know what to do already, doing it even better makes sense. And if you still need an extra push, check out the Cards. Some of these cards can weaken you but give you more credits.
This is an interesting, and welcome change. Not only it gives an opportunity for gamers to play the game again, developer Crystal Dynamics have given gamers a reason to come back for the next chapter of which the mark has already been left.
Conclusion:
Rise of Tomb Raider has raised the bar at every level. Right from weapon upgrade system, building them on fly to smart puzzles, and not to forget Expeditions which game the game worth even when you are done with the main gameplay. Its one of the best games to play right now, and I would suggest not to miss it.
