Use Windows Phone Camera to Call a Phone Number
Windows Phone does an excellent job when it comes to translating text into your language by juts pointing to the text which could be on menus or written anywhere else. Taking the similar concept in mind, We have Point and Call App which does the similar job except it makes it easy to call if you are lazy enough to type in.
This app uses the same scanning principle to scan numbers from almost anywhere. Be it on a book or written on back of your bill. The best use can be done when you want to scan a number written on billboard when in a running car. The app first scans the number and then gives you option o save, call or send SMS directly. In case the numbers are along with text, the app takes care to filter it off.
That said there is more you can do when scanning the number and this is the reason it is called Point and Call. When you scan the text and its identified, you can start the call by full-pressing the camera button. Half press is utilized for setting up the focus.
There are a couple of differences when you are in trail mode and paid mode of the app which costs 0.99$.

Overall it is an interesting and very useful app for users who would love to capture number from here and there and it’s always extra step to note down the number. Though I find later to be more useful but for our geeky friends, this app will be a nice addition to their collection.
