Seasons : Infinite Runner Game on Windows Phone which needs a Serious Fix

There are tons of Windows Phone games which are based on Infinite Runner mode where all you need is jump, slide over upcoming hurdles and one of the recent games that is out is Seasons. Implemented in 3D, this game adds on 1)  hit to destroy obstacles which don’t allow jump and swipe all together 2) Fly when you have enough power. We tried this game for a day and here is out experience :

Gameplay Experience:

After playing it for hours on my Lumia 1020 which packs in better hardware when it comes to memory, the game turned out to be disappointing because of its sluggish performance. It’s shaky, distracting and even music could not put up a positive experience.

The graphics even though built in 3D lacks sharpness which gives the character an unpleasing view to play for long time. While the jump and slide was decent enough, time to react to hurdles which needs to be brought down by hitting ( slide finger from left right) was not enough at all and it results in quick death.

Seasons for Windows Phone

The music shakes along with the graphics pointing to just one conclusion–major update–when it comes to performance. The game stands no chance of any reason it cannot do well when RPG games can do well.

The game also includes a flying mode when you enough leaves collected. You have obstacles there to which you need to break.

Features:

If I have to take a look at its features, the game is seriously promising, specially with multiplayer implemented. You can upgrade skills, powers and so on which comes useful when you are playing online. Ability to Fog, add hurdles, break even all allow to make it one of the best infinite runner.

Honestly speaking we could not test much of any of these because of poor experience. Unless a fix is rolled out, I would advice not to buy the game.

Download

The game does have a trial mode which you can download and see how it goes for you. I hope the developer is listening.
