Self Timer Camera App for Windows Phone
Windows Phones have known for its cameras as Nokia has released some of the best camera phones like the Lumia 920, Lumia 925 and Lumia 1020. While the camera is awesome, there are many features lacking in the camera app. One of the main feature is the timer for taking photos. Although Windows Phone 7 had the self timer, this feature was missing in WP8 camera app.
There are camera apps like Camera Pro and Ready Click which provides the timer. Here is a new app, called Self Timer, which brings in this feature. The app can make use of either the front camera or the rear camera.
You can choose quite a few settings in the camera. You can select the timer interval, flash and also the scene (auto, backlight, night, sport). You can also have the grid enabled for the viewfinder.
Features of the app:
- Self Timers at 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 60 seconds
- Emits a “beep” for each elapsed second (this can be disabled)
- Turns on the flash light every two seconds (this must be enabled)
- Lets you use most of the camera features
Overall, the app performs pretty good, although you might not have the complete features. The app is available free of cost from the Windows Phone store.
